Into Every Life . . .

. . .a little rain must fall.

Hard to believe my nephew's wedding is two weekends past already. How does that old saying go? Time flies when you're having fun? Sure, I'll buy that (and I want that Florida swamp land too). Time flies regardless, having fun or otherwise really doesn't seem to be a factor. Anyway the ride to the Minneapolis/St. Paul area was exceptional, the bike acting up on the way to the wedding was also exceptional (more than that I best not say). The ride home...

Nephew's Wedding

Posted August 10th, 2008 at 03:59 AM by Garage Logician
Saturday (Aug. 2, 2008) was devoted to the wedding of my nephew but there were a lot of details needing attention before the ceremony. Important stuff like finding a wedding card, signing the card, shoving some cash in it, getting the names right on the envelope, and yes: remembering to take it with us which I forgot but we resolved that a couple hours later.

Seed Planted and Sprouted

Posted July 23rd, 2008 at 02:17 PM by Garage Logician
Several weeks back I planted a seed. It was a suggestion to my brother that we take our bikes and spend a couple weeks in September touring and visiting extended family in Arizona. He said it was something he really wanted to do but considering he's working less hours right now was hesitant to make the expenditure. Within a couple days we were talking maybe it could be done if we camped rather than stayed...

Unfocused Gazing Into Space

Posted July 10th, 2008 at 04:28 AM by Garage Logician
Part of last week was going to be spent sight seeing not far from home. We planned to fasten the kennel to the luggage rack (it would have been the true test of how much Haley loves rides) and spend a couple days visiting the “International Peace Gardens” and touring a bit in Canada. Well, it didn't happen. Janice needed downtime. Our sight seeing became unfocused gazing into space from the back deck.

Haley did get a longer bike ride test though. The bike beckoned, temperatures...
